Becky Rhone-Nowlan from the USA is a well known Internet marketer who was unhappy with her size and eating habits. Becky knew she could make the change, but didn't know how to start or where. Fitness by Phone® gave her direction and accountability. When she sent me this message I could almost feel her jumping through the screen she was so excited.
Becky's Story
Hey Rick, guess what?! I am so excited! I broke the 140 plateau, was 135 this morning so I treated myself to 2 new pair of jeans. I started at size 14 and took them to the dressing room and tried them on. They were huge so I decided that I must have gotten down to either a size 12 or maybe if I was lucky a size 10.
I wanted a blue pair and a black pair so I got a size 12 in the blue and a size 10 in the black and off I went to the dressing room. I slid on the 12's and they were too big. I thought Woohoo! How cool is it that I am in a size 10! I grabbed the 10's to try them on and realized that I accidentally brought in a pair of 8's thinking they were 10's. "Darn it, I thought. I had wanted 10's not 8's. How useless was this?
I decided I'd see how close to getting 8's on, so I slid em up and they got real tight around the thighs and hips. Usually thats where they stop; but they kept going so i slid em up. I was stunned so I decided to see how close to fastening them I am, thinking I would have to suck in the belly. I slid the zipper up and fastened the button without having to take so much as a deep breath.
I stood staring at myself for nearly 5 minutes, not believing what i was seeing. I checked the size sticker along the leg 5 or 6 times. When I was convinced that it really said 8M I took them off and checked the tag actually sewn in the pants themselves; sure they were labeled incorrectly. That label also said 8. What did I do? I went out and got another brand same size Just to be sure. Sure enough they also fit!
Damn Rick, I'm wearing size 8's. The last time I wore this size was before I got pregnant and my son is 19. How cool is that?! The cool ting is I can only get smaller becauseI have done all this by making small changes to my diet and lifestyle. Just by making better choices in a few areas, I have lost 3 pant sizes and 3 inches from my waist. I didn't think I would ever see the day that I could fit in a size 8 again. Rick, you rock!
